The Community is proud and honored to announce that Sadhviji Sangha-Mitraji Maharaj (once a native of North Carolina) and Shri Jay Jain (DwiShatavdhani, a disciple of Acharyashri Chandanaji), both from Veerayatan, India will visit us only for one evening on July 16, 2019. JSCNC will be hosting a program in the main HSNC auditorium hall in the evening starting at 7:30* p.m. Program will include
- Bhajans/Stavans by Sadhviji Sangha-Mitraji (Everyone is familiar with her melodious voice)
- Palitana project progress update by Sadhviji Sangha-Mitraji
- SHATAVDHAN program by Jay Jain

While many of us are all very familiar with Sadhviji Sangha-Mitraji and her melodious voice, this will be our first opportunity to witness a SHATAVDHAN program by Shri Jay Jain. We are confident that all of you will be mesmerized. Take the advantage of this opportunity and come out in large numbers to welcome the distinguished visitors and not only experience the SHATAVDHAN program, also learn the progress of various Veerayatan activities. Program details will be forthcoming in due course.

Avdhani – An individual who has the ability to memorize a very large number of questions asked and or objects presented by a live audience (ex – Shatavdhani has ability to do this with 100 questions / objects or combination thereof).

Jay Jain is a Dwishatavdhani (ability to remember 200 questions / objects) and has performed this feat. In one of the prior U.S. visits, he had 3 performances 3 weeks apart – a feat that may not have been attempted before.

ADMISSION IS FREE of Any Charges
* The program is planned to start on time due to a workday of the week so that program ends on time. Also, the SHATAVDHAN program requires a pin-drop silence and hence, no one will be allowed to enter the auditorium while the SHATAVDHAN program is in execution.
